Bachelor of Arts in Arts Administration (Music) (BA)
The Adrian College Music Department offers comprehensive degree programs fully certified by the state of Michigan and aligned with the standards set by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).
Below is an outline of required music courses for the Bachelor of Arts in Arts Administration (Music). The music courses are laid out in the recommended sequence of instruction from freshman through senior year. In addition to the courses listed below, students must also take business courses, general studies courses, and additional courses in order to fulfill all credit requirements. It is recommended that a BA Arts Management major have an advisor in the music department and also meet once a semester with a business faculty member in order to confirm their specific sequence of classes.
The BA in Arts Management degree allows students to gain knowledge and expertise in the fields of Music and Business. An internship experience with a local recording studio, community theatre, or symphony orchestra gives students the opportunity work in the music industry.
Students choosing this degree track are encouraged to select a MINOR in another academic field in order to complete all college requirements.
