The Adrian College Music Department offers comprehensive degree programs fully certified by the state of Michigan and aligned with the standards set by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).
Below is an outline of required music courses for the Music Minor. The courses are laid out in the recommended sequence of instruction from freshman through senior year. In addition to the courses listed below, students must also select a major in another academic field and general studies courses.
The Music Minor allows students the opportunity to gain basic knowledge in the field of music through performance and theory. This sequence of courses may be started in the freshman, sophomore or junior year. It takes a minimum of two years to complete the requirements.
The Music minor is a total of 24 credits.
